Fine ideals, to be praised and promoted, but by what means and at what level of society? If the political realm is involved, then by definition, force or coercion follow, which would seem to be antithetical to the ideals expressed. Besides, aren't there already any number of non-political organizations whose aims are consistent with these ideals?
So why 'purple'? Indeed, why is there no identified spokespersons or specific facts displayed about this catchy term? Is this merely 'green' me-to-ism?
If this is, for example, a party for purple people, beware the
purple people-eater of song who came to earth to join a "rock-and-roll band".
Rock on!

Actually guys, I don't get what you mean here.. All I know is that Purple is the color of the year... Purple is royalty. A mysterious color, purple is associated with both
nobility and spirituality. The opposites of hot red and cool blue
combine to create this intriguing color.
Back to the topic, what will purple party be...a social movement or a political party.? As for my own opinion guys..I think I would go for Purple as a a social movement..for as we all know, politics can never be straightened, no matter what we do people, unlike making Purple as a social movement where a community could create an atmosphere of being together as one for the benefit of making their community more active on their political views without the intervention of their government.

As for my own opinion... I think I'd go with Purple as a Social Movement.. As we all know, politics were not in a manner that we all wanted to be.. And we can do nothing to prevent it..but in a way to minimize it from affecting us..what we must do is to have our own stand of what we believe and pursue on our dreams to live in accordance to God's law..and human law..
As a community, we maybe able to help each other, to stand on what we think is right.. Don't let those powerful politicians rule over even in the community.. We should be firm on our beliefs..

Heh this question is actually how I stumbled upon this political party. I was watching a clip of an interview with Jon Stewart on Larry King Live where he says he is shocked and dissapointed about how people and there political beliefs have been polarized down to two primary colors: Red and Blue so I thought! Why not make a party where you mix both these primary colors, Red and Blue to a rational compassionate well spoken party of people with opinions on both ends of the Status quo. That mixture of those two primary colors makes purple! So intrigued by my idea I googled "The Purple Party" at about 3 a.m. and found out that the Purple Party already existed!
I see it as a mixture of views from both democratic and republican parties but that are approached with a calm rational discussion instead of the ridiculousness we see on pundit shows, tea parties, and town halls.
That is why we should be purple and that should be our message to the mainstream parties that dominate the political scape today.
"Party spirit is a lying, vociferous, reckless spirit, a stranger to candor, willing to pervert the truth, and to use underhanded and dishonest means so it may gain the victory"

Purple is the color of spirituality, royalty and
healing. The amethyst stone is used commonly in healing of various
addictions or for healing in general. When Susan Faith began to
meditate, she frequently saw the color purple. As her healing
progressed, she was drawn even more to the color of purple and to the
amethyst stone.

Analysis of the pesticides registered for use in the seven countries
studied (Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Spain and
Switzerland), shows that more herbicides are registered for onion than
for other crops and more insecticides for cabbage and lettuce than for
carrot, onion and leek. Onion and lettuce are the crops with the highest
number of registered fungicides. 642-533 For each vegetable and country the ENDURE research team has examined
four pest categories for which pesticides are used: weeds, insects,
diseases and others (for example, nematodes, slugs, snails and mites). Then for each pest category and country, they have identified the number
of targets on which pesticides are used (the target is defined by the
registration process). 642-611 For each target, the number of active ingredients
(AI) or mixtures of AIs which received registration in each country has
been counted. The number of AIs or mixtures of AIs for each target has
been calculated for each pest category to give a pesticides per target
figure. Researchers have also 642-973 established the number of commercial
products brought to the market for each pest category and country.

Lipstick color very depends on hair color rather than eye color, but I
must admit, eye color very much contributes.
Lets start listing purple eyes with the testking ccie different color hair & see
the lipstick:
Dark brown hair, purple eyes: strawberry red lipstick
Light brown hair, purple eyes: pinkish lipstick
Blonde hair, purple eyes: pale pink lipstick
Red hair, purple eyes: neutral red lipstick
Black hair, purple eyes: Deep red (maroon can also work too)
Strawberry Blonde hair, purple eyes: Dark/ light pink lipstick
I can’t think of anymore hair colors or any more combinations. I hope
this helps, & remember, while writing a story, sometime looks don’t
count, it’s what’s INSIDE the character that counts. Don’t get caught up
in the details.
Otherwise, I hope this helps!
